email2faceImage Control

The email2faceImage control works with Visual Studio 2005. In order to use it with the ASP.NET webpage designer, you must add it to your toolbox. Below is a detailed set of instructions to assist with this.
Step 1
On the Visual Studio 2005 Toolbar, right click on an empty toolbar area, and choose “Add Tab” from the menu
Step 2
Name the tab, “ASPSOFT Controls” and then right click and choose “Choose Items"
Step 3
After the dialog opens, click on the Browse button and locate the ASPSOFT dll file. After selecting it, you should see it in this list and it should be auto-checked. If not, check it and hit the OK button.
Step 4
Your toolbox should now show the email2faceImage control. Drag and drop it onto your web page designer.Note that there is no designer support as the control can only render by making calls over the internet
Step 5
You should now have access to the property window for the control.
  • EmailAddress - The email address of the person you are getting the image for. Must be in email address format:
  • Size - Choose from 80, 100, or 200. Default is 80.
  • DefaultUrl - This is the URL that the control will default to when no image is found. This should be an absolute path to an image.
  • PendingUrl - This is the URL that the control will default to when a person has an image but it has not been verified/approved. Must be an absolute path.
